Tathagata Farm was initially started as a part of organic farming experimental farm which is also a member of Small Farmers Organic Tea Growers Community known as Mineral Spring Sanjukta Vikas Sanstha.Tathagata Farm opened its facilities for travelers from across the world since 2005 to promote Agro Tourism. Mineral Spring originally known as Lebong & Mineral Spring Tea Estate was one of the first few Tea Gardens started by British East India Company and later in mid 60s which was totally abandoned & closed. At present the land rights has been sanctioned to the Farmers and it has become one of the pioneer Small Farmers Organic certified association since 1998.
